Client Terms — Bluegum Web

Bluegum Web is a trading name of Eduard Luli, sole trader, Adelaide, South Australia. ABN: 69 248 233 156.

Please note: These terms are a plain-English summary written to keep things clear and fair. They are not legal advice. If you have questions about your rights, talk to a qualified professional.

1. Prices and GST

• All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
• I am not registered for GST, so no GST is added to my prices.
• The price in your written quote is fixed for the scope described in that quote.

2. Deposit and payment

• A 50% deposit is due before work starts. Paying it confirms you accept these terms.
• The remaining 50% is due before the site goes live.
• The deposit covers time already set aside for your project. If you cancel after work has started, the deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel before any work starts, I'll refund it.

3. Timeline

• Most projects are ready to launch in about 7 days from when I have both your deposit and your content (text, logo, photos, login details for your domain).
• The timeline depends on you getting content and feedback to me promptly. I'll keep you updated if anything changes.
• If a project is on hold waiting for you for more than 30 days, I may ask for the balance for work completed so far before continuing.

4. Revisions

• Your package includes two rounds of revisions. In each round, send me one list of changes and I'll make them.
• Revisions cover changes to the agreed pages (wording, images, colours, layout tweaks).
• New pages, new features or extra rounds are quoted separately before I do them.

5. Your content

• You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use the text, logos and photos you give me.
• Any images I source for you will be free-licensed or properly licensed.

6. Ownership

• You own your domain name. It is registered in your name and you pay for it directly.
• Once you've paid in full, you own the website content and design files made for you, and I'll hand them over on request.
• I may show your site in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

7. Care plan ($39/month)

• Covers hosting, SSL, backups, uptime checks and small content edits (for example hours, prices, photos, short text changes).
• Billed monthly in advance. No lock-in: cancel anytime with notice by email; it stops at the end of the current paid month.
• Larger changes (new pages, redesigns) are quoted separately.
• If you cancel, I'll give you a copy of your site files and help you move to other hosting.
• If a care plan payment is more than 30 days overdue, I may pause hosting after letting you know by email.

8. Things outside my control

• I'll take reasonable care, but I can't guarantee search rankings, traffic or uninterrupted service from third-party providers (domain registrars, hosting platforms, form services).
• Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
